The Cutterfly

Product_8187b_lgSo ladies we now have the girly version of the Swiss Army Knife. That's right the makers of the Cutter Bee scissors and the Cutterpede trimmer have come out with an all in one tool, the Cutterfly. I think the only thing missing from this little baby is the supply of chocolate to get you through a marathon crop session!!

Get your Scrap On

Everyone needs a little help now and then to get their scrappin' juices flowing. While reading Elise's blog today--she also has an awesome companion blog showcasing her daily creative endeavors-- I saw her version of this creative journal. The Creating Garden at 2peas has all the instructions for this Make and take including the PDF to download. So scoot on over there and grab the goods. Post links to your creation here and who knows what goodies may await a luck participant!

Christmas Memories

Thumb_sblwpx106 Long time no post.... I'm so sorry dear readers!
As we start to prep for the crazy holiday season take a moment to check out the latest webisode on CraftTVweekly.com. This weeks project is creating a talking ornament, with up to 30 seconds of audio. Imagine the possibilities! How excited would grandma & grandpa be to hear your sweetie-pie singing Frosty the Snowman on a custom ornament! The product used for the project was the Speakin' Up recorder from MyPagesTalk. Check out their gallery for more ideas!

In the Mood: Moments v. Events

Everyone is oh so very busy. It is hard to find time to breathe let alone scrapbook. There is some need to get caught up on our pages. But there is no such thing, because life just keeps on moving. So while reading Cathy Z.'s blog this morning she had a link to Stacey Julian's quick video on the Simple Scrapbooks website. It is worth a quick view to help with how to capture the moments, the personalities, of your loved ones. Enjoy!

Inspired Scrapgasm

Inspiration_journalThis week's webisode over on ScrapInStyleTV.com is all about quick projects you can do outside while enjoying the warm summer days. One of the suggestions was to put together an inspiration journalI--a place to keep all the cool items I come across on a daily basis that inspire layouts, color combinations, or patterns. I finally put together an inspiration journal. Here are some of the things I've collected that may turn into a project sooner or later. The lamp and bench have cool lines that might make an interesting color blocking template. I love the color combinations and the patterns from the bedspread and the table cloth. I'll make sure to post any layouts that come from these ideas. So tell us, or show us, where do you find inspiration?
